Powder rolls her eyes with exaggeration before replying, “Not a --” she mimed an explosion, complete with a boom sound effect “-- more of a --” she wiggled her fingers, making a faint hissing sound. This, frankly, did little to comfort Jayce.
Ekko decided to take pity on him at this point by saying, “There wasn’t a fire, or anything like that. Just…” He trailed off, cringing.
Was Jayce actively going gray? He swears he could practically feel his hairs turning gray from stress at this point. “Just what?”
“Just… kinda embarrassing. Maybe a little cute?”

Jayce is summoned to the Piltover Academy, concerned that Something has happened to his husband. Much to his frustration, no one seems willing to tell him what exactly that Something was. Viktor hums. "Some of them did," he says. "Others did not- rather, they worked with the design of the scar to produce the final look. From what I could gather, it was up to the individual what they wanted from the procedure, whether it was to cover up or enhance the scarring."
"Ingenious," Jayce murmurs.
"Quite." The last bowl is dried and settles inside the cabinet with a soft clink. Then, Viktor turns, his eyes settling on Jayce once more. "You know, the village closest to us is quite small, but they do have a tattoo artist."

Something that he’s afraid of. That he doesn’t know how to control.
It starts with rows and rows of razor sharp teeth digging their way into his flesh, ripping and tearing their way through the layers of jeans and tall socks. A scream erupts from his throat at the hot burning sensation that trails its way up his leg. He’s trying to kick it with his other foot, but the demodog doesn’t even seem phased. Its flowered face never opens to release him, no matter how much force he uses behind his kicks. It uses its grip on Steve to start pulling him down the staircase of the bus, one by one, and Steve knows that if he lets himself get pulled all the way out, it’s over.
