Eddie was running.
He was running as fast as he could through the forest, his thin shift getting caught on branches and brambles as he fled. He ignored the sharp stabs of pain in his bare feet as he caught rocks and tree roots underfoot, it didn’t matter about that temporary pain; if he was caught by those alphas again he would be in a for much worse pain, with no end in sight other than death.

Eddie was kidnapped by omega traders from his small village Forest Hills. He manages to escape and (literally) runs into Steve. A kind, but powerful, Prime Alpha in the woods. Eddie finds himself drawn to his mysterious host, if only Steve would stop being so damn chivalrous for one moment and actually listen to him.

Summary
He hears so very clearly, “Uh. Wow, okay,” in a familiar voice, the fantasy suddenly shifting with the finish line just in sight.
Eddie’s always had a highly active imagination so he rolls with it, hips jerking uncontrollably even as his knot keeps him from moving all that much. He’s so desperate to maintain enough friction to get this first knot popped. Once it goes down, he can air it out in here and get settled in his room before Steve comes back in the morning.
Maybe that pressing concern is why he’s imagining Steve walking in, scoffing at the pitiful sight he finds. “Seriously, dude? The couch? And on my side, too? Wow, just—wow.”
Or, alpha Eddie finds himself in a sticky situation.

Summary
In a society where Omegas are the dominant secondary gender, it's not uncommon for Alphas to compete for their attention, showering them with gifts and trying to prove their worth.
For Eddie Munson, presenting as an Omega has been nothing but a pain in the ass. All the Alphas who used to push him around and call him a freak are now falling all over themselves trying to court him. As if he could forget the years of bullying they put him through.
Is there a single Alpha in all of Hawkins who can crack through his icy exterior and thaw his cold, dead heart? He sure has hell doesn't think so.

...It would appear as though Mr Perkins getting ahead of himself was only a mild embarrassment compared to what has been happening elsewhere in the Ton. I’m sure Omega Eddie Munson would have preferred to secure at least an engagement ring before announcing the news of his impending motherhood, but Alpha Jason Harrington was always known as a bit of a libertine...
When Eddie read the words written on the pamphlet he felt faint, and shortly after, sick. But then feeling nauseous wasn’t exactly a new sensation over the last few weeks.
He puked in his bedpan and curled up on the floor of his room, wedging himself between the dresser and his bed, clutching his knees to his chest and hiding his face away.
He was ruined. And now everybody knew about it.

Summary
Stephen Harrington is a proper young omega lady, but an only child and unable to inherit his father’s estate. Instead, his cousin and dear friend Mr. Robin Buckley will. Steve is meant to marry well and marry soon.
His father already has a gentleman picked out for him. Steve cannot bear the thought of marrying Mr. Hargrove, no matter how much money or status his family has. But Mr. Harrington is set upon the union. The bans have been read. Steve is nearly out of time.
So he runs.
Much to his surprise, Mr. Edward Munson is also taking the coach, but only as far as London. Steve hasn’t seen him in years, but the gardener’s boy had been one of his many childhood playmates. Now he’s making a life for himself in London, built up from nothing. But the way he looks at Steve now must mean something as does his scent, smoky and warm like a hearth fire, offering safety while broadcasting his care to everyone in the vicinity.
Steve finds himself making an offer of his own, one he needs Mr. Munson to accept.

Summary
Eddie Munson is mysterious, seductive, seemingly pulled in by the storm, and Steve is immediately fascinated. People in town talk, they say he's a witch and they might be right. Eddie says he's there to ‘heal bad places’, and no matter how enamored Steve is with him, he's going to leave, eventually.
Hawkins seems built on one of these cursed spots and in his mission to heal and help others, Eddie is getting close to a growing number of people. But he can’t allow himself to get attached to anyone, most of all careful, kind, big hearted Steve. They both are starved for love, but hold back despite their sexual relationship. Maybe the two unmoored men can find love and grow roots together, but the threats of bigotry and hatred of mistrusting people might cut them down.

It's practically the charter entry in The Munson Doctrine, despite growing up with his Uncle Wayne glued to games on the television year-round. Sports just don't interest Eddie. Never have, never will.
Enter, Steve Harrington.
Henderson dragging this football player into his store wasn't in Eddie's game plan, but, well, Eddie supposes there's an exception to every rule in the book. And now, here Eddie is, living a sports-filled life he never could have predicted.

A boy beside him, expression the heaviest thing in the world as he looked out at the field, at the cheerleaders during practice. The first time Eddie noticed his eyes weren’t just brown, they were hazel.
So much fucking blood.
A piercing orange glow above ground, hovering and long, deep and so vivid Eddie’s taken to thinking of the shade as blood orange. Wet, sluicing, waiting to be squeezed. Torn at its flush seams. Shut. Pulsing. An echo of something. A problem only solved with the right tool to cut it open.
Gone like it was never there.

Around the third time the trailer got vandalized, Eddie had something of a meltdown. Over a year had gone by since his name was cleared, but the people of Hawkins still hated him and the thought of leaving was just that. A thought. It was getting to be a bit too much — suffocating, actually — and he told Steve that he had to escape. Even if only temporarily.
And that was the thing about Steve, he made things happen. More than that, he had a good track record for blowing Eddie’s expectations out of the water. He snagged the key to his family’s lake house in upstate Michigan and told Eddie that it was theirs for all of August.
It probably wasn’t the smartest thing to agree to. Spending an entire month with the guy he had a huge crush on? In a beautiful waterfront cottage, no less? It was a recipe for disaster as much as it was an alluring siren’s song, but Eddie wasn’t really known for his sense of self-preservation.
So, for the next four weeks, he had to try and keep his wayward heart on a tight leash (or risk ruining his friendship with Steve forever). But, through bonfires and bed sharing, through county fairs and karaoke, through sunbathing and skinny dipping, it wasn’t going to be easy.
