Summary
Cloud blinked. There she was; Aeris Gainsborough walked towards him, smiling. He slowed Fenrir and dismounted. Odd. There was no pause or hesitation when he saw her, no worry that he might say or do the wrong thing and irrevocably change her opinion of him. A fear in the back of his mind that persisted with Tifa, as much as she insisted he could talk to her about anything, as much as they lived together. As much as he knew and understood that. He needed to stop dwelling on the worry. Somehow. He turned as Aeris hurried over to him and threw her arms around him. Cloud hugged her back. "Nice to see you," she murmured into his shoulder.
Cloud makes an exception for an overseas delivery.

Summary
Tifa had been considering the project for the last month or so. Additional chalkboards were easy to obtain, but finding the time to get started was much trickier. In the end the opportunity came on the spur of the moment; a quieter than usual afternoon in the Seventh Heaven. No customers and no restocks to worry about. The weather was likely a factor since the heavy rain kept Marlene and Denzel inside and their regular customers elsewhere. Tifa seized the opportunity to turn her idea into a family activity. A shame Cloud wasn't here too. She could wait, but- "Okay kids. We're going to re-write the menus."
"Re-write?" Marlene stared at her aghast. "You're changing the food?"
Tifa smiled and shook her head. "Not like that." Marlene relaxed. "I thought we could write them out again in different languages."
Tifa decides to rewrite the Seventh Heaven menus.

Summary
"Hello?" Aeris called as she unlocked the front door of the Seventh Heaven. Already the situation was odd - a locked front door; very unusual for this time of day. And now, the interior seemed deserted. She pushed the door closed behind her, hand straying to the pocket of her bag where her phone was. Easy enough to find out where people were - and let them know she was back. No. Not quite yet; the trek across the city had been more tiring than she realised - especially when she had not previously factored in how heavy her bag was. But she was also here now and eager to see people. After all, it had been how long since she last came back? Two months? More? It might even be three or four now. Not good. Aeris shook her head.
Aeris comes home... to find no one seemingly around.

Summary
Suddenly they were at the right spot. Time to act. Breathing suddenly seemed difficult, but if not now, when? Tifa reached out and grabbed Cloud's shirt, her hand shaking. Not easy to get a grip like this - should have gone for the hem or maybe the collar. Either way it had the intended effect; Cloud halted mid step. "Tifa?" he asked turning towards her.
"We... we don't have to go back right now. I mean-" She took a deep breath, avoiding looking up at his face and instead focusing on the ground. She had started, but that had been the easy part. Actually telling Cloud her idea; that was the hard part. "Barret's going to be there all night. So. We don't have to hurry home. I mean, not right away."
Tifa springs a surprise on Cloud after a date.

Summary
The floorboards seemed to smack into her boots as if she had dropped from a great height. There was gravity again; her memories of just how it worked had been blunted after two years without it. Standing seemed to be a more complex and involved process than she had ever given it credit for. Her arms were limp and her knees bent no matter how much she tried to keep her legs straight. She dropped. Her head was too heavy; her neck felt far too thin to support it. This was increasingly seeming like a bad idea. Wait. Some muscle memory seemed to kick in. Her body responded, trying to keep itself in one piece. The backs of her thighs, ankles and knees burned as her body tensed. She rocked back on her heels, balance just about there as her knuckles brushed the floor. With effort she dragged her hands up to her lap. Other senses now intruded - a sensory rush of information bordering on the overwhelming. More focused and direct than sensation in the Lifestream, but also less controllable, so much more intense.
After returning to life, Aeris tries to find her place in the world again.

Summary
You heard the story of the witch growing up just like everyone else. It was a popular story, evocative, imaginative, pleasing. The witch with the castle that would never stay in one place for long. It roamed; turning up here, there and everywhere. The witch had enchanted her castle to stalk across the landscape, striding over hill and dale. She was not a cruel witch like in other stories; she was kind and beautiful. It always struck you as a little odd that they called her a ‘witch’. It never seemed quite the right word, but no story-teller was ever able to offer something better. Or her name. She had one once; both she and her two constant companions. The two warriors who lived with her in the castle - all three of them nameless in the story.

Summary
It did not take long for Elmyra to first hear about Sector Five's Hell House. A monster, somehow able to make itself resemble a house, lurked on a plot of land down near the river. It had been there as long as anyone could remember. The Sector's inhabitants made sure to tell newcomers; far too many lost or injured after venturing into the area. There had been many attempts to fight the creature and retake the land, but none successful. Every so often there was talk of pooling some money to hire SOLDIER and let them deal with the nuisance. It sounded good for a while though it soon degenerated into arguments over who would claim ownership of the land afterwards. Elmyra asked why there was so much concern if it was not causing problems. The answer surprised her; grass and flowers - the only ones within the city - were in the area the creature had claimed. If they could destroy the monster, then the Sector Five denizens might enjoy a reminder of what the world outside the city was like.

Summary
"Everyone else is asleep. What are you doing out here?" she whispered.
A faint flush touched his cheeks. "I... don't have anywhere else to sleep."
Tifa sighed. "Silly. There's a double bed in there still."
"What about you?"
"I was suggesting we share it again."

Summary
Before Yuffie can raise an eyebrow and comment, Tifa leans close to her, the smile dissolving into a grim expression.
"You found that ring in his house didn't you?"
"No," Yuffie says, her voice low, her eyes staring off in the direction Cloud left. "I didn't get it there."
"This," Tifa gestures. "Is his mother's ring, and you took it. Now you're going to put it back where you found it."
"Are you absolutely certain it's his mom's?" Yuffie does not appear guilty so much as worried now.
"Yes," Tifa says with some force. "No one else would dream of doing something that elaborate. Cloud might have convinced himself someone else made a similar ring, but that one is definitely his mother's. Now you need to go back to Nibelheim and put it back where you found it."
"But that's not where I got it."
"Then where did you find it?" Tifa says with a touch more aggression then she wanted.
"The North Crater," the ninja says in a quiet voice.
There is something familiar about the ring on Yuffie's finger.

"I told you I didn't want any bystanders involved."
"Too late," he remarked. "Now, are you going to tell me your name?"
"Agnes Oblige," the girl responded after a moment. There was a disturbance in the air beside her, and a diminutive winged figure appeared.
"And I'm Airy. It's a pleasure," she said.

Summary
Cloud's delivery schedules and route had gotten somewhat... longer and more unusual ever since he resumed his vocation after the curing of Geostigma. Both Tifa and Denzel had queried on more than one occasion whether some of the orders were strictly accurate or anything more than a practical joke. Cloud could readily understand why they'd think that, but as soon as he looked at the scribbled orders, the knowledge of how to get to these places seemed to just drop neatly into his head.
Fenrir rolled to a halt outside a huge, squat building and Cloud powered the bike off. The sign above the door declared the place was called "Dragon's Neck Coliseum", and given the nature of his deliveries these days he wasn't going to dwell on that small fact that neither he nor anyone else he knew had ever made mention of the place. And he very much doubted anything would make him voluntarily enter into conversation about the place's secretary. The purple octopus greeted the swordman with at least four tentacles as he strode across the lobby, placing the package in front of the fanged creature.
Cloud's deliveries have started to take him through-out time and space

Summary
Somewhere in the back of her mind Aeris was faintly aware that the prior Cetra representatives had never formerly rarely fixated so intently on such small sections of the Planet or individual humans as she did. But even if she'd wanted to she could not look away from this; Cloud was racing back across the wasteland that surrounded Midgar, the diminutive form of Marlene resting safely in front of him. Vincent swooped through the air not far behind; his body transfigured into his demonic alternate form as Cid Highwind and remaining members of Avalanche were at that moment hurtling over the sea in the captain's newest airship.
She watched as six warriors attacked the corrupted Bahamut, working together as best they could, each dodging out of the other's way or snatching another from the certain death. They fought with rusted skills; out of practice but old rhythms were quickly returning even as they reached their individual limits. They struggled to keep the summoned creature distracted from Edge's populace, but were barely injuring it in the process; its cries more of annoyance than pain.
Aeris's view of the battle with Bahamut in Edge.

Summary
"Tifa can have red," Marlene began emphatically. "And papa's favourite colour is green, and I want the pink one..." She trailed off, brow wrinkling as a question occurred to her. "Tifa? What's Cloud's favorite colour?"
"Oh, it's-." Tifa halted, a yawning sensation opening in her stomach. What was Cloud's favorite colour? And like water through a broken dam more questions flooded into her thoughts. Did he like dogs or cats more? What had he wanted to be when he grew up before his desire to emulate Sephiroth? What was his favourite television program, film, band, book? She felt dizzy, only stopped from clutching at her own head in shock by the sight of a confused and now nervous Marlene.
A chance question from Marlene makes Tifa realise all the things she doesn't know about Cloud.

Summary
Reeve Tuesti had never realised quite what niggled him about the pictures he had of Avalanche until the day he finally sat down to sort through them. That opportunity only came about once he was finally forced to stop sleeping in his office as a result of receiving threats of violence by a certain loud-mouthed ninja. He'd resisted taking any proper accommodation at first, wanting to leave it available to the hundreds of Edge denizens still crammed into temporary shelters as the fledgling city tried to balance out the displaced Midgar population.
Reeve finally moves into a new apartment and begins to sort it out.

Summary
Reeve's gaze followed Aeris as the meeting concluded and the former flower girl left the room with a small wave goodbye. Yuffie slid silently out from behind the head of the WRO's chair. She looked at him, following the direction of his gaze to the door before sighing with exasperation.
"Boss, just ask her out already. She's crazy about you, and you're practically salivating over her." This was not the first time Yuffie had insisted that the pair suffered from a painfully obvious mutual attraction, but it seemed that now she was bored with watching the excruciatingly slow dance around the delicate subject.
Via a complex and unexplained series of events, Aeris is alive and well and working for the WRO. This necessitates numerous meetings with Reeve who is beginning to realize just how much he likes spending time with her.
