We start the story in late summer of the year 2279; two years after the first battle of Hoover dam. Caesar's Legion has been making moves behind the scenes to rebuild their forces and the NCR has been looking for ways to expand, recently noticing the new presence of enemy spies to their territories. The citizens of the wasteland are caught between an emerging battle between the forces of the NCR, Legion, House, and a Courier who has yet to arrive on the scene. Sylvia, our protagonist, has had a difficult life up to now, starting with her parents dying when she was young and being entrusted to her shady Uncle where they resided in Nipton, a town dirty and deranged as ever. Her problems don't stop there and she finds herself in a twisted series of events alongside the early stages of the second battle of Hoover dam. Catching the eye of the legion's newly promoted Frumentari is the least of her problems on a road to discovering her past
AUTHORNOTE IMPORTANT: I lost motivation for this fic so I've decided to re-work CH 4 and am in the process of doing so. My writing has definitely improved so I am very excited for the coming changes. Thanks for the support so far, I plan to re-release this MUCH better I hope soon!1/27/22 -

This is the fourth and final story dealing with the Fallout: New Vegas main game storyline in the What Happens in Freeside series.
This entire series grew out of someone on the Fallout Kinkmeme asking, after the original What Happens in Freeside story was posted to the meme, for a scene with Vulpes and Arcade eating fruit while having sex.
So I had to get them back together, and then get them somewhere that would have fruit and a bed. And give them at least somewhat believable motivations to have sex.
And that's how you get this series. Just an author floundering to find love and fruit in the Wasteland.
In other words, this is the logical continuation of their story.
Title means Vegas Will Be Free.
