So Yang reaches for the one thing she swore to keep caged. The beast buried in the darkness beneath her grief. Something long chained but never forgotten; teased with glimpses of freedom each time she has let her focus slip, and teeth and claws have come hunting for her heart.
She ignores the itch of her scars as she removes the locks and throws open the door, staring into the crimson eyes of the thing that waits for her inside. There’s a tremble in her legs; a lingering fear from the times they’ve grappled before, but she forces her back to straighten and bares herself to the very worst aspect of her soul.
“Take me,” she says. “Take me and help me save them.”
It’s a mistake, but Yang doesn’t understand the extent of it just yet. She still thinks she’ll be the only one to carry the cost of her desperation, the only one to suffer for her choice. She can’t foresee the fallout of this moment, the gashes it will leave.
The blood that will be spilled because of her.

She has no more reason to stay, and although she’s never struck out on her own before, she would do anything to avoid spending another day under the same roof as her husband. When her plans to pay her way aboard a small sailboat fall through, she must seize the only other chance offered to her: a mighty pirate warship, armed to the teeth and crewed by murderers and thieves. Sailing with pirates is a hard life, and on top of that the captain clearly has it out for Willow—but she’s no Jacques.
That’s a bar even Raven Branwen can clear.

In the eyes of the public, Weiss Schnee is the rich and charismatic board member of the SDC and the Schnee to single-handedly change the entire companies image after her father's arrest. This is how she presents herself to the world even when she had to avoid the press after her father's arrest.
In truth though, she is a member of the Solitas Intelligence League serving in the Knights division under the name Glyph. And she is the one behind the arrest of Jacques Schnee as well as many other missions. She's excellent at her job, probably the best Knight that SILs has to offer and yet has been restrained to doing only missions in Solitas. Preventing her from pursuing her own personal mission of finding the person that took her left eye.
This all changes when she meets the charismatic BOOK Keeper operative, Crescent, at a masquerade under false pretenses of working with her to reach an objective given to them by their organizations. When the dust of that unfortunate deception of a first meeting settles, they decide to work together to help the other achieve their personal missions. But what will be uncovered the more they work together? And what will become of them?
