Emma is angry and short-sighted and a yearning pirate isn't doing her many favours. He is, but not to her emotional state. There is no room in her life for love, but maybe she can smush in some time for a little pirating.
Hook is desperately in love with her, Swan. And it's painful. But he is determined to do right by her, to save her as many times as she needs, and maybe (he foolishly hopes) somewhere along the way her rejections and dismissals might give way to love.
