Soon, the sun would be snuffed out and even the Fates would join him in death. Six long, pale hands reached out and unspool the thread. A restart was needed, one that would ensure this never occurred again. The three had the how, where and when figured out, they simply needed to drag the sun along with them. Suddenly the hands fell still. The Fates began to fade but that was no matter. For Apollo would have the second chance he needed. The sun would rise again, it always did.

I made a joke that not everyone were the granddaughters of Poseidon, and Triton asked why we were soaked, and-“
“..That’s enough, thank you.” Apollo interrupted her in a quieter voice than before. Athena didn’t think much of it.

Athena is lucky she made it out of the games alive (well, not whatever the closest thing death was to gods). Maybe she could’ve been just a smidgen more lucky, though. Just enough so that the lightning strike had charred her brain a little to the left, and hadn’t made her memory (and mental age) collapse in on itself.
News flash, gods aren’t particularly the best at babysitting.

After Athena bravely fights for Odysseus, Hermes realizes that he needs to ensure his great-grandson’s freedom and safe return home. His family needs his help, and he makes a solemn vow to himself- he will get Odysseus home safely, no matter what.
Basically the immediate aftermath of the wisdom saga, the vengeance saga, and the ithaca saga from Hermes’ point of view! First chapter is immediately god games but it will go all the way to the ithaca saga and have an epilogue! We desperately need more hermes and odysseus family fics on here, and i am going to try my best to deliver!
