Trailing her fingers across the aged wood of the table, Sonya canted her head at him. “And I would never be cruel to you, would I?”
“Never,” he replied wryly, reaching for her hand. She let him catch her fingers and draw her hand up towards his lips. He blinked, staring at the knuckles in front of his lips. “Gloves off? You? Scandalous.”
Sonya snorted once, stepping in closer towards him. “I would hardly think the state of my gloves is the scandal here, Cage.”
