What was, however, was seeing him so ebulliently worshipped by thousands upon thousands as the indisputable centerpiece of this world’s Ilian Church. Strange as that was, this church wasn’t entirely unfamiliar either. Even their Ilian Church had plenty of shadows, and this world was no different; the darkness was plenty eager to cast itself longer and darker to match the similarly-dizzying heights of the church's Grand Temple.
Nevertheless, it fell to them to make right at least one wrong. Even if it meant stretching their own concepts of these categories, if only to desperately find a solution to what they believed was a greater injustice. Despite all their planning and experience, though, their plan would not succeed without sacrifices.
After all, a flower’s roots can run deep, and the dirt surrounding may not be willing to relinquish its hold…

Optimus tells the Autobots after the fight in Hong Kong that the safest place for them would be Griffin Rock, even in its extremely accident prone state. The people there either don’t know that Cybertronians exist or they don’t care as the Rescue Bots have never deliberately caused any harm. He tells Cade that he should go with them for his own safety and he does.
The Autobots end up teaching the Rescue Bots a few things about war, and just in time too as somehow Lockdown had been revived. Unlucky for Lockdown, so has Ratchet.
