Focusing on the Main Fallout Questline, with major divergences, this fic focuses on my Sole Survivor Kazumi Totaka as he goes through the events of Fallout 4. There will be heavy use of canon dialogue when applicable, and changes in main quest events as well as the final ending. This is the first part in a series of Totaka's adventures, exploits, and changes to the Commonwealth. Any other fics involving Totaka will have a place in this main "Timeline" or may diverge from it's canon. This is not edited and I am writing it as I play through the actual game with Totaka as my character. It will be messy, imperfect, and obviously, not 100% accurate to F4 canon. Expect many lore and past game references; as well as references to my other OCs and their stories.

Mostly scenes I wasn't able to fit into the main story. Things we have heard about but not actually seen. I will try to remember to mark where each chapter takes place within the main story. Hopefully this can flesh out Nora's wide variety of friendships across the Commonwealth and provide a little more insight into who she is when Deacon isn't looking.
If there are scenes/events you would like me to write about, please leave a comment! I am mostly using this as a way to get the creative juices flowing when I'm temporarily stymied, so it will be self-indulgent AF. Fair warning.

Both survive the kidnapping, and agree to work together to find their son and figure the rest out later. However nothing ever goes to plan and their underlying marital issues eventually cause them to go their separate ways with only one agreement "The Institute must burn". Nora finds the Brotherhood of Steel. Nate finds the Railroad.

He stood there - eyes narrowing at what shouldn't be possible. The Commonwealth had gained a new member yet again... But what would this one bring?

When Sam Vimes was told the Commonwealth would “cease to be”, he insisted that the wizards save every person there, not just himself. As it turned out, the number of people who were actual people was far fewer than expected, but a handful still found themselves struggling with some uncomfortable facts: they were all fictional characters made real by another person’s realness, their entire lives a scripted backstory created by a few wizards, while the real world had magic and was flat.
Raiders to barbarian “heroes”, ghouls to undead, atomic mutations to thaumic ones, there are a lot of surprising similarities between their new home and their old one. But it starts to seem like bits and pieces of the Commonwealth have followed them into the Ankh-Morpork...
Meanwhile, Sam Vimes has to deal with learning that the wife he loves and the son he thought dead are both very much alive. As wonderful as that revelation is, he’s left with the question of what to do about his new boyfriend and the synth son they’d been raising together, even while he’s gripped with the dread certainty that no matter what happens, he’s going to get it wrong.
