Summary
When it comes to the inevitable tavern gossip about why some vagabond is sharing a room with such a pretty young lady, Jote has heard it a thousand times, and as her feelings for Joshua wax, her patience is beginning to wane. Joshua's solution? To masquerade as man and wife instead, because a married couple staying in the same room would draw no such attention. And he's right, of course—yet for Jote, that suggestion comes with its fair share of emotional complications. Those complications only become clearer when the two of them pay a visit to the Veil for an interview with the Dame, but fortunately, with clarity comes clarification…

Summary
Pairs figure skater Clive Rosfield has watched his entire life fall apart for the second (third? fourth?) time after Benedikta Harman abruptly ends their partnership in the middle of a competition, six months before the 874 Chronolith Trials. What he doesn't expect is a third (fourth? fifth?) chance at the Trials, in the form of his childhood friend, Jill Warrick, who bears her own scars. Together, with the help of legendary coach Cid Telamon, they are going to finish things on their own terms. They only have four years to do it.
And by then, the whole world will be watching.

Summary
His father once told him: In situations like this, it was best to wait. Let a fire simmer to a burning inferno, Elwin told when he first took up the sword, and never doubt that fire spreads. His father wanted to keep them safe, promising to come for them if they were ever caught. Clive never told his father, but he knew the truth: an abductor was more likely to keep Joshua alive than him.
As his mother often reminded him, what worth did he have?

Summary
Trying something new where I embody not only a character from a first-person point of view, but also writing as if from a scholarly/historian's perspective within the world of Valisthea centuries after the events of the game proper. I find the characters and the world of Final Fantasy XVI to just be endlessly fascinating and full of potential (even if that potential wasn't always reached in game...) Cidolfus Telamon, played to perfection by Ralph Ineson, is by far the best Cid in all the Final Fantasies that I've played, and he just radiates "bisexual dad" vibes. So, in my headcanon, Cid is just that: a bisexual dad, who absolutely gets around. Not to mention Cid is undeniably charismatic and devilishly mysterious, so I wanted to explore a large part of his history - a history we never got to learn over the course of the game narrative. My goal is to accurately and believably portray these characters and to show nuanced and loving relationships, with all the complexity that love, and Cid just carry innately. Always looking for constructive feedback, more tags will be added as we go (because I'm bad at them), and I hope you all have a fantastic day!

Summary
Wyvern has always despised these types of missions with a burning passion. It's not that he actually 'enjoyed' any of the assignments he was sent on. Far from it. But the missions where he was forced to seduce his target in order to get close enough to them so he could ultimately end their life were by far the absolute worst...

How many times can you shatter before the pieces no longer fit back together?
Set between the game and Rewind, this is the very angsty tale of Clive and Cid falling in love. The heart remembers, even if the mind doesn't.
AKA The time loop no one remembers. Except the one who does. and it's not Clive.

Summary
"Cidolfus had always been a free spirit of sorts. He would take lovers, have fun with them, rarely establishing any kind of exclusivity or obligations towards each other. Most of his relationships weren’t very serious, were more fruits of the moment and situations he was in. Sometimes during missions in Storm, sometimes in Ash, once or twice with soldiers under his command. He had fallen in love once, and it went pretty well. Till it didn’t. But it didn’t end because of jealousy. Cid wasn’t very jealous, and he hated when a partner would be jealous of him.
Jealousy.
Seeing Clive red in the face from jealousy like that stirred something inside him.
Something pleasurable, something warm. Something that shouldn’t exist."- Language:
