Summary
This fic spans the time in between Season 1 and Season 2, and for the first bit focuses on how Izzy lost the rest of his toes for the first few chapters and then going into how Izzy responds to Stede coming back and Edward being alive and all that. Should be a fun trip.
Important to note that I’ve extended the timeline from the one that the show vaugely alludes to. The fic (up until this point at least) spans ~4 months and is caught up to around S2E5.

08.14.2024 NOTE: I have not forgotten this fic, I’m actively working on it I promise. However, since the beginning I knew there would be a point in the fic where I would have to choose between ending it or continuing (which would involve nearly doubling the length). I am fully prepared to see this fic all the way through, but I would likely have to take a bit of a break at the end of the “first arc” that we are currently in. I’ve got my motivation back so I’d probably still be writing but I think it would be better for me to establish a backlog before jumping into part two. So, for all of these reasons, don’t be surprised if this fic is marked as “completed” and followed by a part two or goes on a bit of a hiatus.
