Sam and Abigail had been friends since Abby was born practically, that's what happens when your Moms are best friends. Sebastian entered the picture when they met at the bus stop on their first day of Kindergarten. At this moment no one knew where the trio would end up, two of them had to get together right. Most people thought it was Abby and Sam seeing as they had been friends for so long and were just that close, while others thought Sebastian and Abigail because they have similar views and aesthetics. I guess you could say no one was wrong about either of those predictions but what no one expected was Sam and Sebastian and Abigail. Polyamory was unheard of in the valley until it just happened somehow.
Or a coming-of-age story of how Abigail, Sam, and Sebastian's friendship was revealed to be a little too close; and how they are dealing with life once they all came to terms with the fact that they all wanted each other.

He can’t even spare the bandwidth to feel hurt you didn’t say hi before heading to bed, all of his focus is zeroed in on that scent. Now normally, he doesn’t dare go into your room while you sleep, but that fragrance is so tempting.
Aka, Krobus gets enthralled by the smell of monster musk and can't keep himself away from you.
