Summary
The portal closed behind Legend, and he had to sit down for a minute, head in his hands. The cold of night was somehow amplified by his brothers’ absence, and he shivered, rubbing his hands against his arms. What he wouldn’t give to be back in the Chain, sitting around the campfire and sharing stories from their adventures.
Legend has lived through a lot of goodbyes, and he has always known his time with the Chain was limited. That he'd have to go back to his own era one day. That doesn't make it easier to accept.

The forest was denser than it had looked to be in the distance, and they only made slow progress. A fact which was starting to annoy the vet, if one were to judge by the way he cursed under his breath.
But then again, it had been an awful day already, and it was still early in the afternoon, so there was time for lots of things to go wrong yet. Maybe Legend deserved some slack after having been tossed overboard and washed ashore on an unknown beach, all their equipment left behind with the others on the boat.Warriors and Legend are separated from the Chain and stranded on an unfamiliar island with no equipment. With a hero's luck, things can only get worse from there. With TWO heroes' luck? Well, this day is shaping up to become a disaster.

Another wave washed over the deck, and Legend gripped the rope in his hands more tightly. The water was knee-deep now, splashing over the railing like it desperately wanted to claim the ship for itself. With every wave they hit, the ship lurched violently to the side, and the heroes had to cling to the railing so they wouldn't fall overboard.
The Chain is caught in a storm while out sailing. Legend in particular is not having a good time.

Sky and Legend end up in a dungeon. Not the normal sort though, not the monster ridden, tunnel filled, search for keys kind. Or, actually.... there are all of those things, but the difference is that they're prisoners, not adventurers, and the prize for escaping the dungeon isn't a tool, it's the veteran's life.

Summary
Legend felt a sliver of panic set in as everyone turned toward him with disdain in their eyes. It didn’t matter that the woman had been harassing Warriors or that Legend had tried to solve the issue diplomatically several times. The crowd had already decided he was guilty. And now they were calling for the guards.
Legend and Warriors go to the pub one night. An unfortunate turn of events leads to both Warriors and Legend having to face past trauma.

Wind soaked it all in. Every last detail. He took in the ruin and devastation with a knowing feeling of guilt and sorrow. Guilt because they'd known that Lurelin Village had been facing monster troubles. And sorrow because, looking out over the ruins of a town that had been flourishing not so long ago, it felt as though Wind had lost his own home, too.

The Chain have made their way back to Lurelin in Wild's post-Upheaval world, only to find it infested with monsters. With its citizens displaced and the humble fishing village in shambles, Wind is determined to make things right again, alongside Wild and the others. He intends on taking on the pirate ship anchored in the bay - and pulling out an old ability that he hadn't used in a long time. All the while, he thinks of home, and what he has to return to once this adventure is over.
