As a waitress working beside the docks, Tifa would watch Cloud repair his sailboat - a broken, wrecked thing that had been towed in after a particularly nasty storm. Every morning they would wave to each other, every morning they'd share a small, secret smile, but they would never actually talk.
Another storm that sends Cloud into the restaurant changes that, and from then on, Tifa slowly learns a little bit more about the man that she falls in love with every day... and realizes, while they take out his sailboat for the first time, that maybe he had been falling in love with her every day, too.
