Summary
Lavern "Nunchaku" Sinclair somehow finds himself in a new world after his Turk service was cut short during Meteorfall. New world means new environment which breeds new players. And these new players aren't your typical terrorist cell. Rather, they're supernatural creatures from myths of old mingling with the human populace.
While retirement seems like a nice option, he knows he'll be dragged into the world's affairs soon. But he isn't afraid. Years of being a Turk taught him to be versatile and adaptable. Wouldn't be any different here in this world.

Summary
The problem started with what seemed like tinnitus. A small complaint; Cloud mentioned it off-hand once what remained of the Highwind made it to Midgar. A faint ringing. Could have come from numerous causes. Multiple trips into the Lifestream, the roar of Holy bursting from the North Crater, the explosions as the Highwind shed sections, the destruction of Meteor...
Meteor is destroyed. But while the world rebuilds, Cloud's hearing worsens.

Summary
Fresh produce fluctuated in prices as the Planet left the Mako age and moved into a new era. No term to encompass it yet – other than in relation to the events and practices no longer current. Post-Midgar. Post-Mako. Post-Meteor. Post-Shinra (more or less anyway). Post-Sephiroth. To Avalanche and a few significant people; post-Aeris. Fresh vegetables commanded a premium in the fall of Midgar and the rise of Edge. Crops from the Upper Plate and in storage sold at absurd mark-ups to those desperate enough to buy.
Fruit and vegetables are getting more expensive post-Meteor.

The sights they see. The sounds they hear. The lives they live... are so complicated. And so simple. I can't wait for you to join them." Another rattle and the image whirled now pointed in the opposite direction. A women with long, brown hair and a red dress stared out of the screen. "Aeris; we can't both exist. I'm going to become half of you. And I need you to know that every moment you love being yourself; that's me loving you and loving being you. Because you're going to be something extraordinary. You're going to be a human being. Take care of them, Aeris." The woman smiled and the rattling came again as the view skewed and then vanished into static.
As they traveled the Planet, dancing brought them closer.

The small red cub let out a plaintive mewl as her mother's rough tongue nearly enveloped her. She squirmed and shifted as Deneh continued to clean her daughter before she moved onto her son. Nanaki lay beside his partner, watching as she diligently washed their children despite her obvious exhaustion and the slightly awkward pose had wound up in.
Nanaki watches Deneh caring for their newborn children and reminisces.
