Tifa made a point of looking to the clock; Marlene was more than capable of telling the time, but it seemed her earlier complaint of the time going too slowly had convinced her to not look at it at all. “Soon.” Any time now; more subjective and contingent on Cloud and Barret returning. Marlene huffed and returned to her drawing, a swirl of black and green and brown and a different shade of green. Anticipating later it seemed.
In the years after Meteor, the denizens of the Planet begin a new tradition. Marlene can't wait to start this year's.

The small red cub let out a plaintive mewl as her mother's rough tongue nearly enveloped her. She squirmed and shifted as Deneh continued to clean her daughter before she moved onto her son. Nanaki lay beside his partner, watching as she diligently washed their children despite her obvious exhaustion and the slightly awkward pose had wound up in.
Nanaki watches Deneh caring for their newborn children and reminisces.

The war is over and the remainder of the group has managed to survive Meteorfall. This is good news for everyone except Vincent, who is left with no idea what he should do next.
But Reeve's newly formed WRO presents him with an opportunity. When the provisional government decides to put the surviving Shinra brass on trial in a tribunal broadcasted to the whole world, Vincent does the only thing that makes sense.

Reeve Tuesti had never realised quite what niggled him about the pictures he had of Avalanche until the day he finally sat down to sort through them. That opportunity only came about once he was finally forced to stop sleeping in his office as a result of receiving threats of violence by a certain loud-mouthed ninja. He'd resisted taking any proper accommodation at first, wanting to leave it available to the hundreds of Edge denizens still crammed into temporary shelters as the fledgling city tried to balance out the displaced Midgar population.
Reeve finally moves into a new apartment and begins to sort it out.

"Wha-?" A flare of light washed over her accompanying the click of the shutter. "...okay, I'm confused. What's the occasion?"
Cloud wound the film on, checking it would go no further and then began to wind it back. "I found this while getting the beds down."
"I'm flattered you wanted another picture of me, but I think we have a better camera somewhere..." She stared at the device in his hands, something surfacing deep within her memories. Something about that particular camera.
Cloud's voice was shaking slightly as he continued. "I found it with our bags; the ones we had when we were hunting Sephiroth."
The camera. There was something vital about that camera. Frustration itched across Tifa's brow. What was it? Cloud extracted the ribbon from his pocket.
"This... this is Aeris' ribbon. I think... I think the camera was too..."
While preparing for a gathering of Avalanche, Cloud finds a camera that used to belong to Aeris. What pictures did the Cetra take, and are there any of the flower girl herself?

Tifa had been considering the project for the last month or so. Additional chalkboards were easy to obtain, but finding the time to get started was much trickier. In the end the opportunity came on the spur of the moment; a quieter than usual afternoon in the Seventh Heaven. No customers and no restocks to worry about. The weather was likely a factor since the heavy rain kept Marlene and Denzel inside and their regular customers elsewhere. Tifa seized the opportunity to turn her idea into a family activity. A shame Cloud wasn't here too. She could wait, but- "Okay kids. We're going to re-write the menus."
"Re-write?" Marlene stared at her aghast. "You're changing the food?"
Tifa smiled and shook her head. "Not like that." Marlene relaxed. "I thought we could write them out again in different languages."
Tifa decides to rewrite the Seventh Heaven menus.
