    This is a story I’ve been working on for quite some time, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you all. It follows a different path than the movie, though some scenes may feel similar as the story unfolds. In this version, all characters survive, and the battle at the end of the third Hobbit movie hasn’t taken place yet—at least not up to the point I’ve written.

    I really hope you enjoy reading this fanfic as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. I’ll do my best to update the story regularly, and I’m always open to tips and suggestions.

    After being betrayed by her friend Anakin, Jedi Knight Alexa is forced to fight for not only her life but a Youngling she managed to save. Through some out-of-world magic mumbo jumbo, Alexa and the newborn are saved by the Valar and teleported to Middle Earth. Waking up in an unknown world, Alexa is found by a Wizard by the name of Gandalf who helps her adjust in Rivendell where she raises the Youngling as her own.

    Alexa Lafitte is a Jedi who is saved during the Jedi purge along with a newborn by the Valor of Middle Earth. For what and why she has no idea. Alexa begin's to have visions of the new world she is in and starts to get an idea as to why the Valor saved her. But she pays no mind for she recognises none of the people in them and instead raises the baby she named Ben after the man she lost. That is until Gandalf shows up talking about a quest with a group of Dwarf's.

    Balin has been adviser to three generations of the throne at this point. He started out late into King Thror's rule after the kings last adviser died (Was murdered by King Thror for trying to tell him something he didn't like). He didn't really count his role to Thráin II since the man was so out of it that Thorin had been named regent as a tween.

    Being Thorin's adviser had been his greatest achievement, even as tween the crown had suited him. But being an unmarried king had drawbacks and Balin had spent just as much time getting Nori to 'dissuade' pushy suiters as he's spent helping Thorin with royal matters.

    Bilba Baggins is a breath of fresh air and Balin has been planning the royal wedding since she wondered in to their lives. Now he just has to get her here for it.
