Summary
Bruce had met Jack and Janet Drake even before Timothy Drake was born, and he only had a few words to describe them: Jack Drake was an eagle — always watching, claws sharper than anything, and knowing exactly how to strike; Janet Drake was a snake — slick and cunning, her stare could freeze anyone in place, and her tongue was as sharp as a knife. On top of that, she injected her venom into people in a painful yet silent way. That was how Bruce knew the Drakes.
And Damian, while trying to dig up more information about his not-so-enemy-but-still-an-enemy Tim Drake, found some of his father’s old files on them.
That night, at a gala, Bruce and Damian watched and realized just how much Tim truly was his parents’ son.Or,
Tim, out of nowhere, decides to join Bruce and Damian at a gala, and only at the end of the night do they discover why he had done that — and also realize that, yes, Tim was a Wayne… but above all else, he was, undeniably, a Drake.

Due to persistent, aggravating, relentless nagging—” he cut a pointed look at Kon, “—I will now be walking you through the events surrounding my retrieval of Bruce Wayne from a temporal displacement, why Ra’s al Ghul keeps sending me flowers as part of a murder-proposal pact, and why I am, as of last quarter, the CEO of Wayne Enterprises.”
There was a beat of stunned silence.
“All of which,” Drake added dryly, “are, somehow, related.”
“Wait—flowers?” Richard said. “From Ra’s?”
“What the hell is this timeline?” Stephanie mumbled.
Kon said nothing, just gave Timothy a supportive nudge and plugged in the drive.
The screen blinked to life.

Really, Tim is surprised he is the only one in his family to settle down in Gotham. The Addams were notorious for anything gloomy, freakish, or deadly - and Gotham fit that to a T.
But when his Auntie Morticia got him in contact with the Drake couple, Janet being a member of the family, that spent their lives digging up dead things (archeologists), Tim was ecstatic to have the chance to stay in the notoriously crime-ridden city. Especially since the last time he was there he watched two circus performers fall to their deaths, though he has since been told that it actually wasn't planned and hadn't been for entertainment.
A few years later he is known as Red Robin, a vigilante that fights alongside Batman and his gang. They are for some reason under the impression that he has neglectful parents, but that couldn't be any further from the truth! He talks with them every family séance. Because they are dead. By choice, of course, they just prefer the Other Side over the Land of the Living!
Jack and Janet? Oh, he just watches over their manor while they are gone.
