Summary
"I started running, and that seemed to make sense, so then I just kept running."
— Bojack Horseman, 2014Turns out, when Mann Co. fires you, they don't bother giving you time to process it. They give you 3 months notice then make you figure it out; so you end up shoved into a cramped hotel.
Scout is used to running—it's all he's known. But the walls feel more suffocating than any battlefield ever did. It turns out the fastest guy in Boston can't outrun paperwork, being forced to share a hotel room with Sniper, and the epiphanies of living real life, rather than fighting for gravel.
The battlefield is gone; the noise is gone. Running doesn't exactly work when there's no where else to go. -

Spy hates feeling this way. He hopes Engineer can help lighten the load, or at least help him get these thoughts out of his head.
He'd never be a woman.
He wasn't supposed to be one.

Summary
Scout is the newest firefighter on the Badlands fire department!
There are certain deliberately inaccurate details. Please suspend your disbelief. A little bit. Haha.
This story takes place in the modern day. Just easier for me that way. (:
Edit: Graphic depictions of violence tag has been added due to detailed scenes of medical emergencies. Not super physical violence, but it could get pretty bad.

Summary
Miss Pauling was kind enough to word it as a request, but Spy knew it was more of an order. Or possibly a test. He knew that if he failed to perform this simple task, then he would quickly become one more unidentified body rotting away in the New Mexico heat.
And to earn his freedom, all he must do is murder four people who had quite literally been born to die. -

Summary
After the aftermath of the famous, long awaited TF2 finale, the mercs are eager to get back to the basics. Good ol' New Mexico, good ol' Mann Co. Good ol' blood and guts and chaos.
But nothing stays the same. Especially not with Olivia Mann, the new CEO of Mann Co. in charge.
The new base has new secrets, and new people to meet. These secrets may not change the world, but they'll certainly shake things up a bit. Some spoilers in the tags.
Kudos and Comments are Appreciated!

Summary
As days turned to months, and months to years; there was that glimmering, shining memory of a time that the BLU Scout had tried desperately to hold onto - and a dark, neverending descent into a nightmare that the BLU Medic wanted nothing more than to escape. Two sides of the same, twisted coin.
Four years had passed since the events that deepened the divide between RED and BLU. Four years after the incidents that clung to both teams - unspoken occurences that nobody dared to acknowledge, yet were ever able to forget. There were paths that should have never been crossed; lines that should have never been blurred. Although tense, and uncomfortable, things were safer - things were easier - if they remained the same.
In a world where only the dull, tired hues of red and blue seemed to matter, a different color appeared over the horizon. In a horde of countless many, this new tide of time presented itself as an oppressive - mechanical shade of gray.Longest and final part of “Still Human”.

Summary
"I'm not gettin' sick."
The statement had been preceded by countless numbers of small coughing fits, gradually increasing in frequency and severity over the course of several hours. Now that they'd been on the road for a couple hours, Scout was starting to feel like a cat had reached down his throat to play with his vocal cords. He blamed it on his driver's frequent "smoke breaks", which never occurred outside the car.
"I don't recall ever saying that you were," Spy replied incredulously. His eyes were kept firmly on the road, but he could feel Scout glaring at him.

What should be a run-of-the-mill car trip back to base following a contract goes slightly off-course as Scout finally gives in to a rapidly worsening chest cold.
