Enter Riley Emerson. A 9 year old seemingly able to predict the constant onslaught of life changing events the town throws at its residents, an entire library worth of knowledge in her mind, and more than just a few cards up her sleeve. Determined to be what her friends need to face the future, she steps into this new game of life she fought so hard to prepare so meticulously for.
She would do anything for her Chosen Six. Even if that means she has to die.

When she gave the teacher the wrong answer at the oral test in middle school. When she gave Arthur Lester a chance. And now. Death was not the end.
Death was terrifying.
