sapnap enjoys working at build-a-bear workshop despite how badly he sticks out with his clothing style. he likes the entire mall where he works, really. and the tattoo parlor, inkpocalypse, that resides just across the way from his own workplace easily has to be one of his favorite parts of where he works. even if he doesn’t exactly visit too often, the fact he can see decorative ink and metal poked into people’s bodies from his own pastel hell is great in itself. at least, until a cute guy busts his nose on accident while sapnap is definitely not supposed to be taking his break in the parlor’s back room. maybe that had to be his favorite thing. Karl has a heavy caseload with all of his classes and Sapnap respects that. He understands that they can’t go out all the time or be with each other every moment of every day. He’s just happy to be able to have someone to tell all the little things to.
When some small thing seemingly changes his day, the first person he tells is Karl. When he is annoyed about something, he always tells Karl first. And it’s the same the other way around.
Sapnap has always been the kind of guy who's wanted someone to share the little things in his life with. He’s always wanted that special bond. As he gets older, he starts to feel that it will never happen. But just as his hope evaporates, he meets Karl.
This is their story of how their relationship developed.

“Oh fuck no,” Sapnap said almost as soon as he stepped into the kitchen and saw George sitting at the table, pale and sniffly and wrapped up in one of the blankets from Dream’s bed as Dream himself was making eggs at the stove. “You are not infecting all of us with your diseases right before I go to LA.”
“Fuck off.'' George's response was made less intimidating by the sneeze that immediately followed and how stuffed up he sounded. “This is your fault somehow.”
“What the hell?” Sapnap moved around the kitchen, staying as far away as possible from George as he went to pour some orange juice from the fridge into a glass cup. “How is this my fault?”
“Stop fighting with him.” Dream reached out to run a gentle hand through George's limp hair, looking grossly fond. “He’s sick.”
“Yeah, Sapnap, I'm sick.” George, apparently, wasn’t so ill that he couldn’t give Sapnap a shit-eating grin once Dream turned back to the stove. “Stop fighting with me.”

Woah this one is longer than I thought, definitely gonna do a part 2! I had a lot of fun writing this one, I’m not sure why.
The vomiting in this one is a bit more graphic than usual, so if you aren’t a fan of that then I’d recommend you skip it. It’s not overly bad, I’d just rather not make you uncomfortable.
