First, Sunny decided to jump off the roof of the hospital.
Second, after one failed suicide attempt, Basil dropped the truth on Kel, Hero, and Aubrey, then proceeded killed himself succesfully.
Aubrey hasn't been herself. Hero dropped out of college. Kel has been just peachy.
One month later, Kel wakes up on the floor of his room. But it's different.
A younger Kel and a younger Hero are both sitting up in their beds, staring at the person who randomly appeared on the floor of their room.

[OMORI game events during the three days, but from Basil’s POV]
Basil has three days left to go. His Grandmother isn’t doing well. Wether he likes it or not, she’ll be gone in a matter of days. Then, it’ll be over. For him as well.
He has a plan and that plan consists in getting his old album back. Just to look through old times he ripped from the world, one last time. To see everyone happy again, one last time. To see the face of his best friend, one last time before he goes.
Only of course nothing goes as Basil planned, with Sunny finally showing up at the worst time possible.

Flowering vines is about the red string soulmate au and the hanahaki au. When a person turns 16 they are able to see the red string that connects them with their soulmate and when they both start to develop feelings for each other they will spark the hanahaki disease. The person with the hanahaki disease will gain red flowers on their string, slowly growing to the other person until the soulmate gains hanahaki too. The flowers may be painful but they rarely kill. Flowering Vines is meant to be an AMV/PMV series for SunFlower on youtube, the fiction posted here is the script.
