He has a splotch of pale discolored skin over is right eye and cheek. His hair is white, and trimmed neatly. His beard, also white, is trimmed but does not hide the obvious scars of a Glasgow smile. He grins at Nick and when his savior's eyes meet the detective’s he is taken aback by the color. They are the blue of a frozen lake, almost white.
