Summary
After finding out that their best friend had been holding out on life-altering information about an alien race Daxx is forcefully thrown into a life of war and chaos after being captured by the newfound leader of the Decepticon cause for a poorly executed revenge plot. Unfortunately, that works out in no one’s favor. Daxx accepts the fact that he’ll probably die in the clutches of the Decepticon's new leader. But instead, they meet an equally vengeful now rouge police car.

A shocking death makes Megatron question his longstanding drive to conquer all things. Prime gets an inspired idea that terrifies him. A second chance means rebirth is possible for all of Cybertron. But rebirth is painful. And you don't get to be the same kind of person -- or same kind of Planet -- afterward.
This is the first story I ever wrote, begun waaaay back in the pre-MTMTE dark days when things like "Ending the Autobot/Decepticon war" and "Actual deep, complex relationships between characters" were still pipe-dreams that felt wrong to even hope for.
While I now see my amateur-writer status showing up in this work, I still stand by it 100%. I poured into this story all the mad dreams I hoped -- and still hope -- for in both Transformerdom and in the real world.
I wanted an audiobook version. So I made one.Series

Set after Dreams Come True, Megatron reveals his horrifying past to Shockwave through a diary he kept when locked away. Just what torture could turn a once innocent life into nothing but a blood-thirsty maniac who wants nothing but to destroy life on Cybertron? After all, nobody is born a killer. This story explores the most darkest parts of Megatron's pre-war life to the most grotesque and dark fantasies of the once Decepticon ruler. While going through Megatron's past, this series also takes time in the current post-war setting, focusing on how Megatron and Shockwave's relationship is budding and how Megatron is to cope in the future.
