Summary
When Ra's al Ghul pushed Tim Drake out of a window after he foiled his plots again, he did something and the vigilante disappeared. Six months later, and through a completely unrelated summoning to an alternate dimension's Sun God, Tim reappeared both five years older and part of the crew of the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.
Now stuck in his home dimension for a month until they can be sent back home, due to bullshit magic reasons, Tim has to face the Batfamily that he had left behind, reckon with a couple of old ghosts, and deal with Bruce Wayne's ever-increasing paranoia in the wake of his disappearance. Luckily, Tim is older, theoretically wiser, and knows that his crew has his back.
(And, in flashbacks, Tim grows into the pirate he is today: the Shadow of the King.)

The kid is obviously hurting.
Besides, sometimes it’s easier to kidnap a baby brother instead of asking your dad for a new one.

He might not have adult supervision but he’s got Janet’s brains and Jack’s money and more audacity than the two of them combined.

Damian…well, Talia doesn't need any explanation. Bruce’s mommy and daddy issues manifested in the form of a giant batsuit. But Tim, well, no one thought that Tim had any issues with his parents. To the rest of the family, Tim’s life before his parents' death seemed to be paparazzi, perfect smiles, and picture-perfect.
Oh, they had no idea how wrong they actually were.

Tim loved Danny. So, so much. But after an averted apocalypse put a strain on their relationship, he needed space to work on himself. After months of separation and countless therapy sessions, Tim finally built up enough courage to accept Danny's invitation, visiting him in Boston to see if they could try again.
This is a soft fic about reconnection and moving forward after a split. It's kinda sad, but does get happy! I promise!

He ran and ran until his feet ached and his mind couldn’t keep up and the stars stopped mocking him. He didn’t know how far he ran. He didn’t know how he got back home to an empty manor where no one greeted him and no one missed him.
He flopped backwards onto his bed and stared up at his ceiling. “I made a friend,” he whispered, and nobody heard him. The universe spun and spun, and Tim was lost to its endless spiral.
