Toad accidentally created time travel. Kind of. He was trying to create shoes that allowed him to teleport, accidentally falling through space and time instead. In his trying to get home, he ran into a time traveling mutant trying to get rid of all mutants. Toad didn't want to have to become a hero but considering he was the only one with time travel, he was the only one that could try and stop him.

Summary
The Brotherhood house stood creaky with the wind on Rawson between to nicely kept houses. The lawn was unkempt, most of the windows busted, a jeep parked in front of the open garage setup on cinder blocks with the wheel leaned against the frame. The porch was crooked, the swing broken and sitting on more cinder blocks.
It was an eyesore to the neighborhood.

Neighbors to the Brotherhood did not appreciate the teens or the way they kept their house. Once they figured out it was just them, no legal adult, they made some complaints. Enough for someone to come and inspect the home. That inspection led to the foreclosure to their home.

What if some of the X-Kids decided the Brotherhood weren't enemies or a problem to be dealt with, but potential friends they could nag into doing shit like, brushing their teeth and believing in themselves? What if Kurt discovered who his mother was, saw the shit job Mystique was doing leading the brotherhood and said to themself "Fuck it, I'll do it myself?
This is a series of moments that plays havoc with the X-Men Evolution series' original timeline, with the stories beginning roughly in the second half of the kids' junior year of high school, and spanning into their late teens early 20s. The stories fill in the big gaps left by the series and take paths I wish had happened, like Freddy apologizing to Jean, like Kurt getting a circus family, like Todd and Forge having a secret lab together.
Some chapters are in response to the Kodd 2021 revival challenge, but many are me running in my own direction.

idk how well oc x canon stuff does here, but i have like 32 chapters (some need editing still) of brain worms about an OC of mine that was for a werewolf RP back in the day that i adapted to x-men because i was bored one day. It mostly follows day to day stuff with no real plot and it meant to skirt around the show with out changing a whole lot in it.
I DID NOT REWATCH THE SHOW BEFORE WRITING THIS AND I ONLY SAW IT WHEN IT CAME OUT. it is likely very OOC. I know for a fact its OOC for Lance.

The buildings outside were just as gold as the room she was in. All around, as far as she could see, were spires upon spires of golden towers. Far below her window she could just make out small white figures moving around gold streets. She looked up, expecting to see a dark night sky, and gasped in shock at the gargantuan celestial body looming above the city.
