The 4 nations are living in harmony once more... kind of. Zuko has been working non stop to rebuild the fire nation and asks for help from his best friend, Sokka. With his friend turned lover, they help uncover secrets about Zuko's past and help him find peace. They look for help from old friends and even one of their former enemies. Only time will tell if they can uncover the truth, or if it has been lost to time.

If Katsuki is going to be the Avatar, he's going to be the best one the world has seen. Even if the Fire Lord decides he wants to use him for a war he's starting and even if everyone else in the world doesn't trust Katsuki. He's just going to have to be a little patient. Even if he doesn't want to.
He's just going to come back in a year or two, when the Fire Nation doesn't have control over him and the world trusts him again. It'll turn out fine. He has people waiting for him.

"Katsuki…" Shouto says. There's pity laced in his voice and Katsuki refuses to look at him, "Just until we can convince that the Avatar is good, okay? We'll tell everyone that you sacrificed yourself for a while to insure they feel safe. And then I'll get you out and you'll help beat my father. It'll only be a year or two tops."
Still, Katsuki's gaze finds Shouto's. "Promise?" he asks. "It won't take long?"
"Promise."
Katsuki takes a deep breath. It's what he's supposed to do while meditating, while learning how to firebend properly. But he's not good at it. He is, if you asked him directly, though. "Fine."
Shouto smiles. A delicate and small this, nothing like the Fire Lord's. "I'll be there for you when you come out. Promise."
Katsuki slumps until his chin is on Shouto's shoulders and Shouto's arms are around him. "Whatever."
