Summary
It was Moss the Chronicler who said that the land of Valisthea is blessed in the light of the Mothercrystals, and that it was this light which finally led our forebears out of the darkness. Yet what they saw in the light gave rise to temptation. Temptation that ever lures us back into the crystals' shadow. And thus did our journey begin.
A retelling of Final Fantasy XVI.

***SPOILERS IN THE SUMMARY***
Clive lays dying on the beach, his life slipping away, when suddenly, he finds himself back in time, five years ago. He can't comprehend the divine intervention that sends him back, but overwhelming gratitude fills his heart. This is his second chance, and he is determined to make things right, to save as many lives as he can, especially the one person he has missed dearly for the past five years. With all the Eikon powers still within him, Clive embarks on this new journey, armed with the knowledge of what is to come and the determination to change the future for the better.
The man Cid finds in Nysa Defile is certainly everything the rumors have told, and more, surprisingly. Although his strange and touchy behaviors baffle him, he is grateful to have him join his cause nonetheless.

Summary
Wishes are made aplenty across the realm of the Twins, but they are shallow, contradictory things made flippantly by the people everyday. But what if, at one pivotal moment in time, there was a wish that everyone shared? What if that one singular wish was echoed between thousands of threads of consciousness across both Storm and Ash? What if that wish had the added benefit of being backed by the aether gathered from the land for nigh on a millennia?
Or when Clive aims to destroy Origin's core, he is beset with a momentary human lapse of sorrow for those gone and everyone agrees that it is a shame. So why not make it so that doesn't happen? Thus he, Joshua, and Jill are thrust into the past, back when the talk of war with the Iron Kingdom was still nebulous and the events at Phoenix Gate have yet to happen.

A collection of self insert snippets that I'll never get around to fleshing out into full blown stories, but had the brain rot for them and thus they were written. A few might have continuations, but that depends on how much reception they get and how much inspiration I have for them.

Summary
“Dion. I know the Empire has asked much of you. That it still does. But when all of this is over… you can be whatever you wish to be. Not a Dominant, not an Emperor, not a soldier. Just… you.”
You. Dion’s mouth felt suddenly dry. Who was he, really, without those things? For as long as he could remember, he had built his life around Bahamut’s wings. He had desired that life, grown into it. Perhaps his bones were crooked and he ached with every step, but it was part of it, was it not? What was life without a little pain?
“When that time comes, whatever you choose – know this. You will not be alone. You will never be alone again.”
---
Dion wakes to an Empire in ruins. His wings clipped and his home destroyed, he must find a way to live again and atone for his sins. But destruction seems to follow him wherever he walks, and the hardest task is learning to forgive himself.
Re-telling of post-Twinside until the end of the game and after, from Dion's POV. Mostly canon compliant with missing scenes, filled in. Angst with a happy ending.

Summary
Clive Rosfield was ready to die, as he lay there on that beach. Origin was destroyed, Ultima was defeated, and he could finally, finally rest.
He was very surprised, therefor, to wake up again in his fifteen-year-old body in the rubble of Phoenix Gate.
He'd been sent back, given another chance to change the world. And with all the Eikons already under his control, he was capable of doing just that. Could he save those he loved from their fate? Could he make this world better than the last?

A Hermeneutic Approach to a Contemporary Mythos by asdfghjkl_pudding

Summary
Hermeneutics is the interpretation we derive from experiences separate from oneself. Applied in the context of a life, all actions can be examined to interpret a greater meaning to oneself.
Clive wakes up at Nysa Defile with memories of the future and his final battle against Ultima. Except, he is not the only Dominant to wake up that morning and remember their death.

I... actually really like this portrayal of Dion here. Well, "like." It makes me uncomfortable that the author really digs into the flaws of these characters, especially by having Cid so ruthlessly dig at Joshua and Dion. Coincidentally, I really like how both Dion and Joshua come to see Cid as a colossal prick, that part I love, lmao.
But I "like" how Dion's and Joshua's flaws are put on display and dug into - Joshua's insecurities and cowardice, feeling unsuited for the role of Archduke; Dion's recklessness and obliviousness, his love for his father making him susceptible to the Sanbrequoise propaganda that he can't come to terms with. It is uncomfortable because Dion is one of my favourite characters, and to see him deconstructed like this feels too close to home; because it likely is true, and I had never considered it before.

Summary
Stories have been told of Leviathan, the Lost Eikon. It was curious how, in a time known as the War of the Eikons, there was one Eikon that was mysteriously absent from the conflict. Some believed that Leviathan abandoned the world, believing that it had grown too poisoned with the sins of man. Others posited that she was dead, her bloodline of Dominants wiped from the face of the earth.
They were both wrong.
Leviathan was not gone. Or dead. Merely... waiting.
Ahma Shiomi is from the archipelago off the southern continent. After years of watching her homeland succumb to war and the Blight, she decided to take fate into her own hands and set sail for Valisthea. If only she knew that with this one decision, she would change the course of history forever. For in her blood sleeps a power that will shake Valisthea to its core.
And thus did our journey begin...
(Note: This story was written before The Rising Tide DLC was revealed. This is my own original take on Leviathan).
