After many months in prison, Black Hand escapes and creates a device that allows him to finally defeat and dominate Green Lantern.
In which Black Hand travels back in time to to the fight he has with Green Lantern in Green Lantern (1960) #39.
While Black Hand couldn't see Green Lantern, he pulled him even higher for a moment, baring his face entirely. Green Lantern's mouth was open, lips pale as he gasped for air. Water dripped from his dark lashes, indiscernible from tears. His face began to flush, brows creasing as he seemed to process what was happening to him. He gagged, spitting out more water, thick with drool as it dripped into the fountain.
