    The story remains largely unchanged, simply better written. Additionally, the original was written before Dagur’s sister was introduced in the TV show and featured an original character named Lana. She has been replaced by Heather in the rewrite but the plot would have had to change too much for it to be canon complacent so consider this an AU in which Heather grew up with Dagur as opposed to being estranged and adopted.

I just wanted my family, whether blood tied or shield bound, to be safe . Instead we're following the doom diary of destruction, to an island so secret Little Brother basically extracted an oath from me not to speak of it.
    This is gonna suck, isn't it?

    Basically, I rewatched the series recently and the scene of Dagur reading the letter in "Searching for Oswald..." wouldn't leave me alone. Deranged he may be, but in my observations, no one is ever really prepared for the loss of a parent.
