“Jesus Christ, okay.” Hayden shuffled behind the camera. “Ilya Rozanov.”
A flush bloomed across Shane Hollander’s freckled face, intensifying so fast it looked like his face was on fire.
“Uhm.” He pressed his lips together before his shoulders dropped in resignation. “Smash.”

Liliya squirms slightly as he slides her tiny arms into the sleeves, her face scrunching in mild protest. "I know, I know," Shane murmurs, smiling faintly. "Not your favourite thing." He glances briefly at the phone, then back to her. "Maybe one day," he says quietly, "we can show this to your papa."
There's a subtle shift in the room. Yuna's smile falters just slightly. David, standing nearby, looks down for a moment before composing himself.
Shane doesn't stop. "This is the day you came home," he tells her. "The first day of the rest of our lives kiddo." His fingers are careful as he buttons the cardigan, adjusting it so it sits just right.
"I think he'd like to see this,” he adds softly.
Or, Shane and Ilya sleep together the day they meet in December 2008. Shane ends up pregnant. Ilya has no idea, it’s only when their daughter is diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that Shane realises he has no choice but the break the silence between them.

"I practically had a panic attack the first time Ilya mentioned it, but-"Yuna reached across the table and placed her hand over his. "That was before," she said.
Shane's jaw tightened.

There was nothing the much smaller hybrid could do as the bear overpowered him and pinned him down with his soft belly completely exposed.
The bear let out a happy rumble as he began lovingly grooming Shane’s belly. The brute was showing surprising care as he thoroughly cleaned Shane’s fur.------------
Fox hybrid Shane is separated from his family during a storm and found by grizzly bear hybrid Ilya. Shane's relief that Ilya won't eat him is short lived when he realizes that the bear has other plans for him.
