Summary
Dennis has survived five months at the Pitt: night shifts, trauma calls, and the kind of exhaustion that seeps into your bones. For those same five months, he’s been living with Santos. They work together, go home together, and in the middle of the chaos, they’ve become each other’s safe place. Dennis is loud about how much he loves her. Santos shows it quietly, in the small ways she only ever lets him see.
Between shifts and takeout dinners, they gossip and tease their coworkers’ obvious crushes. Santos and Garcia flirt shamelessly. Dennis, meanwhile, is completely blind to his own situation. He’s too busy being confused about his attending.
Because Robby is always there. Too close. Too warm. Hands lingering on Dennis’s arm, at his waist, eyes following him across every room. Dennis tells himself it means nothing. It has to mean nothing.

Summary
***I STARTED THIS IN 2021. Since then I have seen a lot of people attempting to copy it even using some of my original character, names, phrasing, etc. THIS is the original story.****Mentions of past child abuse. Occasional: manhandling, mild slurs. ***WARNING: CH 25 "Goober" Contains Graphic Scenes of Abuse***
Susan and Neil are dead. Billy is 20 at the start and Max is 15. Story covers their lives (eventual Harringrove but more about relationship than sex) over a period of several years, if you read all of it...but if you don't, I understand. :p
The original story is contained in Chapters 2 - 10. Those have more of the original cast, and involve monster hunting, etc.. (Chapter 2 was posted first as a stand alone, which is why it's so long.)
After that there are requests, prompts, etc and just things I wrote because I got an idea.
IF you want to read this giant meandering thing in chronological order, refer to chapter 1 -- and then save Drabbles and Summer nights for after, if you are still wanting more.

Billy’s eyes flick down and back up, slow enough that Steve feels it everywhere. There’s a beat where Billy doesn’t say anything, just watches him, like he’s filed something away.
“Careful,” Billy says. “You might like it.”

There’s just something so pathetic about the way Armand looks right now—the way he’s writhing in the rubble, pained and lethargic, like he’s genuinely struggling to move. Part of Daniel wants to stay and see how this pans out. Of course, the guy has just proven himself to be a legendary liar, so the whole “wounded animal” shtick could be total bullshit. Daniel could be two seconds away from having his jugular ripped out. So, another part of Daniel, the smarter part—the part that’s causing his heart to race and the tremor in his right hand to intensify—is telling him to listen to Raglan James for once and run!
But still, Armand really doesn’t look like he’s in any shape to pounce on Daniel and rip out his jugular. And the thing is… Daniel had another dream, the night he unearthed the horrors of Divisadero Street. Fragmented flashbacks. Nothing cohesive. Much like the ones he’d had of Armand tormenting him—although this one was perhaps even more unsettling.
