He turned, twisting to see the moon riding full over the village, the bay, the mountains beyond. Cameliard in silver, timeless and at peace. He inhaled slowly, and sat up. Next to him, Gaheris, who roused at the smallest sound, the lightest touch, did not stir, long hair falling forward over his face. Kay reached out a hand, hesitated, not wanting to wake him.
