"It's a temperamental beast with a mind of its own, and it doesn't help that the instructions are in Italian." 'Sounds like another temperamental beast I know', he thinks at the hyde who has gone quiet and focused.
The petite girl walks towards him and snatches the manual from his hands, scanning over the pages quickly and then looking at the machine. This close he can smell her despite the coffee scent everywhere.'Delicious.'
'Yes–wait, what? No, you can’t eat her just because she smells great!'
'I don’t want to eat her per se, just a little bite.'
'No! Calm down.'
Her smell saturates the space around him with a very distinctly musky and feminine scent along with a faint scent of aniseed. He finds it completely distracting.

As Wednesday endeavors to find a way to control the visions that have brought her to the dreadful school her parents have been trying to get her to attend, she impulsively throws herself into any mystery that presents itself to her. Summary
The study of hydes has been frought with danger, barriers, and the inability to find a sample size that is both numerous enough to make generalizations over the species and divorced from trauma. Tyler Galpin is no exception to this rule, as he grew up with no knowledge of what he was, no knowledge of where he came from, and no way to protect himself from the woman who would become his master.
Wednesday Addams grew up with every answer she could ask for from a loving family who would do anything for her, and who knew how to love her for what she was. She grew up safe, and happy, and strong.
Tyler Galpin's hyde was unlocked when he was 16 years old by a woman who he can do nothing to defend himself against. Wednesday Addams unlocked her own hyde at six years old, and has known no other master since.

warning: this story is an adaptation from the first episode of the second season of sex and the city - take me out to the ball game - since it’s my favorite episode ever from the series - all credits to the authors (since some lines are from the show) and this is just an adaptation for fun! there were some differences to make sense, since wednesday is way different than carrie - and also some original lines from my own. you don't need to watch the episode to appreciate the story, give this a shot!
