Summary
After being assigned his room on the Astral Express, the first thing Sunday does is remove his halo.
Penance is a long journey, one made arduous by the unpredictability of his new hosts. Perhaps his ultimate repentance will come after he learns to embrace disorder, but the current him is incapable of doing such. The Astral Express has no interest in being his new captors, but Sunday has lived his whole life in a cage.

Suguru stares at the ingredients laid out on the counter.
Nanako pokes the bag of sugar. “Do you really think this will work?”
No. Suguru does not have much faith this will work. His recipe is from some monkey with a “mommy cooking blog” that was last active six months ago, with no pictures of the final product or explanation of how the cookies are successful even despite the lack of eggs. But it was the only recipe he could find, and he promised the girls they could at least try.
He doesn’t want to get their hopes up, but he also doesn’t want to bring the mood down before they’ve even started. So he tells them, “I’m not sure if it’ll work or not, but all we can do is try and see what happens.”
nanako's egg allergy prevents her from eating a lot of things, so suguru and the girls decide to make their own egg-free cookies together

Okkotsu Yuuta emerges from the back room with a smile on his face, dressed in a simple white t-shirt that hangs loose over his frame and black skinny jeans. A silver ring glints on his lower lip, small black hoop earrings hang from each earlobe, and he has an industrial piercing running through his left ear. His hair is dark - shaggy and soft looking - and despite the dark circles beneath his eyes, he appears genuinely happy.
Toge wasn’t aware he had a type, but this guy suddenly seems to check all the boxes.
Except the girl behind the counter - Rika - apparently feels the same way. And Toge already decided he wasn’t getting involved in that.
or: toge gets a tattoo and develops a (not so) little crush on his tattoo artist. it would be easier if said artist didn't keep coming into toge's flower shop and buying flowers for his girlfriend.
