Wednesday steps outside. "You have been feral way too long, Enid. It’s time to heel."
Nothing else is said. Wind whistles between them and rustles the trees. For just a moment, Enid’s tail tucks between her legs.

While at Nevermore, Enid risked her humanity when she wolfed out in a moment that meant life or death for Wednesday, with the understanding that Wednesday would find her and help her revert back. Mira looked hungry, so Celine fed her.
There are a few reasons for this. She’d been rather insistent that she needed the manilla envelope sitting on her desk in her office, needed it delivered as soon as possible to the apartment she keeps in Seoul for the days she spends in Sunlight Entertainment HQ, and it had to be one of Huntrix to bring it to her. It just so happens to have been Mira who answered.
Mostly, though, Celine feeds her because she aches for the days when all her decisions were so simple.
It's hard to see yourself reflected in a younger generation. It's harder to tell long-buried secrets-
-especially what happened on the day Rumi was born.

And when Tuk hops off on the marui path to go find her friends it happens again. Kiri too takes a part of it as she goes out to swim on the reef. Jake snags what remains as he steps out.
And all that Neytiri can do is watch them go, and train her bow arm. And to her fury Spider is ever present in the corner of her eye - learning the Metkayina way from Ronal; a woman that Neytiri dislikes.
She hates the feeling of seeing him so happy with her. Hates his freedom. The back of her ears begin to burn. Her fingers start to twitch. Her chest starts to hurt more than her bow arm. And she feels such fury. It's worse than before and more intense by the day - unwavering and inexplicable.
