His heavy bootsteps echoed in the silent room as he stalked towards me. He didn’t stop until he stood toe to toe with me. He leaned down, pressing his forehead to mine as he closed his eyes. His hand traveled to my hair threading his fingers through the strands before releasing a heavy sigh and opening his eyes, scorching me with the fire behind them.
