This is not a long arc, and will be told (primarily) from the perspective of the Mellark boys and Jon Undersee. It covers their reactions to all of the interesting events unfolding during Reaping Week, Gale's downfall, Flo Mellark's death, and Certain Events during the Games.

The 74th Annual Hunger Games have been suspended with half the Tributes still in the Arena, and the legalities of the entire affair in question. Panem is on the verge of war - against Snow, not the Capitol - and with all eyes on the Arena again, everyone is waiting to see what will happen now.
Sequel to "Afterburn" and "So Small A Thing". The last chapter of SSAT is, chronologically, not part of the narrative yet, and will be posted after Chapter Two of "In This Hour" - Part Three of the 'All Sorrows Less' 'Verse, from Peeta's POV.

'So Small A Thing' provides history, context, and new perspectives on the events of 'Afterburn' as Panem responds - again - to events precipitated by the rejuvenated Everdeen-Mellarks, and unwittingly seeks to rewrite its own temporal history in a manner that will incite, not another war, but a genuine revolution.

Summary
Katniss Everdeen-Mellark goes to the woods surrounding New Appalachia, a.k.a the former District Twelve, on the morning of the fiftieth anniversary of the final Reaping of the Hunger Games. There, she is literally waylaid by her own past, and wakes in the past, six weeks before Primrose was first Reaped. Alone, grieving, terrified, and without a clue on how she got there (and then), she realizes that it will be impossible for her- on every level- to simply live through events as they transpired in her personal future. With no way to return her to that future, she is nevertheless determined to get back to her own party - hopefully with a lot less damage and fewer crucial casualties along the way.
Now, the Mockingjay faces the greatest challenge of her long life... Turning the odds forever and perpetually in her, and Panem's favor, without giving herself away.
