When she goes to confront him about it, the two are able to reconnect after so many years apart but with the chaos of Gotham and the existence of Batman, they have a lot of hoops to jump through if their relationship is to last. And that's before adding any romance to the equation.
This story starts with Bruce's return to Gotham as Batman and goes until at least Duke's arrival. I'm not sure of the exact end yet, but it will be a while.
