Once Leon was sitting in the evac helicopter, the extracted files already handed over, still covered in mud and BOW guts, he remembered that earlier his phone had chimed with a text message. This time, he pulled out his phone, trying to make sure his hands were relatively clean at least, and tapped open the messages.
Mom called. I’m sorry the princess camp was canceled.
Leon blinked. Princess camp? What? The message was from a number that wasn’t in Leon’s contacts, too, so there was no other option than for it to be a wrong number. At least so Leon was hoping, because if his next job would be at some kind of a princess camp he was going to quit. Fake his own death. Anything. He couldn’t help but to be amused by the text, though, and so he wrote back: Aw and here I was really looking forward to wearing a tiara.

Summary
There were actual butterflies in Piers’ stomach. He didn’t even know the band, not really, so it wasn’t the idolizing kind of butterflies but it still felt like he was walking up to be judged by strangers and he really wanted to do well. The previous days he’d spent hours on youtube checking out RPD’s music videos, live performances, random lyric videos, anything he could get his hands on. And he had learned a lot.
One, the band’s music style was a mess. He liked most of it, hated some of it, could play any of it. Two, the singer, Jill Valentine, was a kickass musician. Three, everyone in the band was hot. Piers wasn’t thinking it in a pervy way, either, but he had eyes that could see and it was really damn obvious. Out of them all, the lead guitarist, Leon Kennedy? He was quite possibly the most gorgeous person Piers had ever set his eyes on. …slightly exaggerated, maybe, but he was beautiful.

His heart still beating madly from the surge of adrenaline Piers turned to look at the man he’d just saved. “You okay?” He asked, but then their gazes met.
Those eyes.
He knew those eyes. A strange unease settled into Piers’ gut, as his brain tried to piece things together, but he didn’t get very far before he was awarded a shaky smile.
“Yeah. Thank you. For that.” The man smiled a little bit wider, breathing a sigh of relief, something a little hysterical in his voice that showed how keenly he was aware of how close to death he’d just gotten. “You have no idea how glad I am to find another human being in here! I’m Leon,” he said, offering his hand, “Leon Kennedy.”
And Piers felt like the floor opened up underneath him.

Summary
The end of the world came quietly.
Leon had experienced something similar before, driving into Raccoon City in an eerie silence that only broke when he was deep in the city and the air was suddenly filled with the twisted moans of the undead. He’d thought the city was abandoned, before he realized it was now inhabited with walking corpses instead. The dead who were simultaneously so quiet and never really quiet.
So when he woke up one morning in his hotel room and the city around him was too quiet, he already had a bad feeling. He was probably one of the first to figure out what was going on.

The first thing Leon thought was “No, no no no please not again.”
It had been almost a decade since Krauser stood in front of him and unleashed the mutation of his arm, a mad gleam in his eyes as he’d thought he’d found the key to endless power. Leon still had nightmares about it, could still remember the moment so clearly, how Krauser’s arm had twitched and then burst open to form not a limb but a weapon. He could still remember how his heart broke at the sight, as it was the moment he realized that Krauser was truly lost to him.
Now the heartbreak was back tenfold when Leon looked through the window into the reinforced hospital room at the BSAA’s hospital wing. It was as much a prison cell as a hospital, everything thought through so that the patient, the specimen, whoever they had in there wasn’t going to break out and be a danger to everyone around.
Right there, lying on an uncomfortable-looking stretcher, thick restraints wrapped around his waist, was Piers.

Coughing and gasping for air, Leon put tremendous effort into not blacking out–both from the shit he’d sucked into his lungs and bouncing his head off the dirt when the shockwave from the blast toppled him. When he felt a pair of hands grasp him by his holster straps and pull him away from the crater the greenhouse had left behind, he pawed weakly for the knife strapped to his thigh, but then he heard a familiar voice–albeit distorted by a respirator mask:
“Hey, Leon–it’s okay. We’re here to help.”
Chris Redfield.
Golden boy of the BSAA, knight in shining armor, and Leon’s hopeless crush, which had been going on for so long now that it was old enough to get a driver’s license.

Summary
Contrary to the popular belief, Chris and Leon had not actually been sleeping together for the past decade, but it became even harder to debunk the rumors when they suddenly invested in a property together. While Leon learned to walk again on his shattered leg, Chris threw himself into a mechanics course and into renovations, to get the garage up and running. To stay busy, Leon looked into the financial aspect of it all, making sure that there was absolutely nothing they hadn’t considered.
Of course the fact that they both moved into the quaint two storey family home on their property did nothing but add water into the rumor mill. When Piers moved in with the two of them a few months later, well, then the rumors started getting wild because no one really knew what was up.
Meanwhile, Chris, Leon and Piers try to make sense of over a decade worth of yearning. Somehow, they make it work.

The first thing Leon registered was the cold stone floor under himself. So, he wasn’t home in his own bed, then, he thought wryly as he struggled to get up. It was a bad move, as the second he moved he also realized that he hurt all over. His head was splitting, his shoulder aching, and he felt like he’d taken a good beating.
…which was because he had taken a good beating, he realized belatedly. And now he woke up with his head pounding, in what looked like a basement of some sort, aching and pissed off and apparently chained to the wall.
“Fucking ow…”
The familiar voice from a few paces away made Leon’s eyes fly wide and he scrambled to turn around. “Piers?”
Instantly Piers looked up, eyes equally wide. “Leon!?” He was frowning as he met Leon’s gaze, still struggling to free his wrists from the cuffs around them. “What the fuck is going on here?” he asked, obviously frustrated.

Summary
Nowadays, Piers has many more good days than bad. Occasionally, however, he's forced to truly face how a virus continues to affect his body and his life. The worst reminder of that ended up landing him in the hospital for three full weeks. This is easily the second worst time: being exposed to a new viral strain that was, in part, a C-Virus cousin at best.
Chris fought for him to spend most of his recovery time at home, most likely aided by Leon's first-hand account of events. Piers doesn't know all the details. He does know that his body feels wrong in about five different ways, all the meds suck, food tastes bland, he can't sleep, and he can't even try to rest in his own bed — his and Chris's bed.
He also knows Chris can't sleep, either. Even when Leon is available to tag in to help.
