There was a pot of soup Hans made waiting on the stove, the soft quiet of snowfall was blanketing the cabin in peace, and they were alone together. With such luxuries, any storm would have felt like an afterthought. Besides, Henry didn’t much mind the cold.

Summary
Forty, empty, tired and dying - that's how life finds Henry on one fateful stormy morning.
He is about to give up, forgoing his incomplete revenge, welcoming death with open, albeit exhausted arms. He is too old for this crap now, and he killed all the big fish anyway.What luck then, that his last remaining target - Sir Hans Capon who had so horribly wronged the refugees - decides to show up and save his life on a pure whim. And maybe drag Henry to Rattay as well.
With renewed will to live, Henry decides to finish what he had started twenty winters ago and stab that bastard the first chance he gets.… he just didn’t expect to have competition.

"Sussess!" he cheered, showing off the bunch. Hans whooped, arms up in the air, beaming—a bright, glorious thing that made Henry want to thrust the flowers under his nose just to see if he could make the smile bigger.
Hans laughed, waving him away, and Henry realised he had in fact done that, his body leaning dangerously over the tub, belly pressed into the rim.
"This's perfect!" Hans sloshed forward toward him, grabbing at Henry's collar, "You geeeeeeeeenius!"
Henry keeps reliving the day Hans Capon invites him to the Rattay bathhouse. Is he being punished? Has he been given some divine mission? And what the fuck is Hans doing in the bathhouse for five hours? Henry is determined to return to the real world, and he'll do just about anything to get there.
