Will had always felt left behind. Whether it be in love or in life, he lagged behind the rest through no fault of his own.
Stuck living with Lonnie until he turns eighteen after his parents messy divorce and bullied nonstop at school, he tried to seek solace in his best friends—that was until they started to leave him behind, too.
It’s senior year. Mike is still with Jane. Will is still in love with him despite all attempts to move on.
He had resigned himself that he could never have Mike, and he should be okay with that.
He could deal with the loneliness until he could rejoin his mother and brother after school finishes.
He could handle being undesired. It was fine.
Until an unknown person messages him on AIM one January evening and shows him just how desired he really is.Or: It’s 2003. Mike stalks Will. Will is oblivious as to who it could be—until he isn’t.

Summary
Mike and Will are not completely new to intimacy. They show each other affection constantly. Be it holding hands, bumping knees, kissing, compliments, pet names, leaving hickeys.
But that's where it stops.
They've talked about sex, discussed their feelings on it, agreed that they want to do it together, whenever they're both ready for it. And for a while, that was it.
It never came up again, and they both felt content with it. Maybe it'll come naturally, work out, like things usually do with the two of them.
Only lately something has shifted. Neither of them is sure when and how it happened, but things have started to heat up.

"They've discussed it before, when their relationship had just bloomed. Up until then, Will handled his heats on his own, with the overwhelming need for Mike to at least love him the same way. He used to cry so much, and had to lie that it was because of any cramps he may have had.
And now that they're in a relationship, it feels like Will needs even more, despite already having more than he deserves.
The whole situation of it all is overwhelming. So much so that Will only realizes he's crying when a tear rolls down his temple and into his hair."
Or: Will goes into heat unexpectedly. He also feels a lot of shame regarding his body's instincts, specifically how much he wants to go further with Mike. Mike simply takes care of him.

This makes the other man pause, then he’s all smiles again. This time, he smiles wider, fangs now completely exposed. A breath catches in Will’s throat at the sight of them-very long and very pointed things, a predators natural weapon. In all honesty, he’s impressed.
And a little turned on.

But living in the same cramped dorm room as Mike Wheeler makes moving on impossible, especially when the cracks in him and Jane’s relationship start becoming visible to everyone else, and Mike turns to Will for comfort. Moving on becomes exceptionally hard for Will when he’s always been soul tied to Mike with an invisible string that his been attached his heart since they were twelve years old.

Summary

It’ll take a very stubborn person to convince Dean he deserves that. It’s lucky Castiel Krushnic is a very stubborn man.
