Ren was having a perfectly nice day.
Then some guy wearing a hoodie and a face mask came in, demanded to be served alcohol without showing an ID first, had a staring contest with the counter, left, and posted a terrible review online citing incidents that didn't happen. He ended it by saying he'd never step through LeBlanc's doors again.
He came back next week, brought inside by his coworker while wearing a different outfit and a different mask.

The first time he meets Bachira outside their assigned dormitory for some after-hours training, Isagi views it as a mutually-beneficial arrangement, ready to make the most of it by learning a thing or two from this exceptionally talented, yet undeniably odd dribbler—while friendly and perhaps a little too touchy-feely, Bachira Meguru doesn’t fail to give Isagi the chills. There’s nothing more to it, really; they’re supposed to head in, practice shooting and passing, and then leave. No pointless talking or getting to know each other on a deeper level.
That was the initial idea.
Turns out that Bachira is quite the chatterbox. He also proves to be exceptionally hard to, well, not like.
Bachira Meguru falls hard, but Isagi Yoichi falls harder.
