It wasn’t alive.
You had to keep telling yourself that. Repeating it like a mantra over and over again, in the hopes that you’d force yourself to believe it. That no matter how much the robot screamed in pain, or how more and more evidence began to stack up that it was more than just fancy inanimate machinery, that it was just that; machinery. Not alive.
You had to believe it.
Otherwise, you’d have to come to terms with the fact that you were not only complicit in the suffering of another living being, but actively responsible for it.

Summary
The world was spinning. Drops form on strands like water on a spiders web which in turn seemed to circle and spin from its space within your mind. Every possibility, every chance and every movement lead you here with his body tied to your back as to not drop him as your feet carried on. Distant whispers had mentioned a small piece of heaven that had fallen, and by god were you determined to use it.
OR
A figure from Powders distant pass makes an appearance and now Silco has to deal with the girl demanding for them, disappearing at odd hours to see them, and even dragging Silco to see them begrudgingly.
