Earth has fallen and world has long gone to hell, follow our crew of follow ragtag crew of continuity breaking friends trying to do their best to survive in the Dystopia that is now earth, not the best time to be alive I'd say, all the while trying to avoid these massive robotic aliens that seem to abduct people at random.
Meanwhile on the Cybertronian side of things they just want to save their damn kids trapped in fleshy prisons

Optimus Prime always figured that he'd find a personal peace with the formal end of the war. Cybertron can heal; the Autobots and the Decepticons can learn to co-exist with each other, and the universe itself can fall quiet once more.
So why can't he fully adjust in the new world he helped save? And why is it that every Decepticons has suddenly started looking at him with dark, hungry optics? And no matter where he went, why does it feel like he's being followed?

War is a horrid thing.
Especially the war currently gripping Cybertron.
Primus is utterly sparkbroken at the countless needless deaths of his beloved creations, his children. The once great cities that his children had laboured, loved, and defended now sit in ruins, the great roads his children built to traverse and explore their home now glowing in with spilt lifeblood.
And his Prime....his last blessed child....now stands in a battlefield that was once a home....forced to fight the one who they trusted the most, loved the most, now grieve the most.
How could he have let this get this far?
How did he not see the suffering his children were enduring while he slept?
Why was it only now he notices? On the eve of his own deactivation?So for the first time since the activation of the Thirteen, Primus acted to protect his creations.
However....
It would have been nice if he had ASKED them whether or not the now two mortal enemies minded sharing the same body.

After saving Jazz from the collapsing tunnel, Orion Pax had promptly passed out. When he woke back up, though, something was different. Something about him had changed. Something had changed the way he looked at his best friend.
And it broke D-16's spark to think about it.
Optimus Prime woke up as Orion Pax again, and though he panicked at first, he realizes the opportunity at hand to fix where things went wrong. He wants to save D-16 from becoming Megatron and prevent the war that destroyed Cybertron. He would set things right this time, and he wouldn’t lose anyone else.
But why does he keep seeing those red optics on his best friend’s face?

If there was one thing about Orion Pax that anyone who had ever crossed paths with him knew, it was that the mech had the gift of the gab. Give the miner bot an inch, he would take a mile. He was aware of this little flaw, he had enough self awareness to reign it in when needed, but most times he would obliviously begin a tirade on whatever topic came to mind or interested him in that given moment.
That and it seemed to help whenever he found himself in deep slag. This was one of those times.

Before his bond with his brother broke.Sam is unfortunately along for the ride. The Allspark is a smug semi-sentient artifact that fuck up his life again and again and now it has decided the Sam would do very well on Cybertron... as a Cybertronian... as a sparkling.

Summary

Now burdened with memory and fractured identity, the question looms: will D-16 rise once more as the infamous Megatron, or will he bury the Decepticon warlord for good?
TL;DR: The Transformers One movie, but D-16 remembers far more than he should. The knowledge alters him— twisting his path, deepening his regrets, and transforming his bond with Orion Pax into something quite far from just platonic.

Optimus narrowing his optics as he looked around, his fins turning down slightly. The cyan-green swirls of the portal darkened, turning stormy blue and swirling ominously, as if a tempest was brewing inside. He hesitated only a moment before instinct took over. He turned back—something was very wrong.
He darted toward the exit of the ground bridge, but before he could reach it, a violent electric storm erupted within the portal. Lightning snapped around him, striking his back with ferocious force. The blast hurled him out of the portal, tumbling across the ground until he slammed against a tree with a loud thud.
Electricity crackled across his armor, sparking and shimmering as warnings flooded his processors—alerts and alarms blaring through his system, making his helm ache. Optimus despite that, he pushed himself upright, his fins flickering slightly as he scanned the area for signs of Decepticons. But there was no one in sight. More notably, he was no longer where he had tried to leave. He was somewhere entirely new.

Sensing his prey’s attempt to escape, Megatron dug his claws into the bun’s protoform, eliciting a moan followed by a gurgle of static from his vocalizer. He yanked the bun back, making him sit pretty over his glossa.
“You're not going anywhere, oh no, you're going to be my meal for tonight.”
