“Why Kalos?” He asks, partly to draw attention away from his clumsy card shuffling. He’s given up on trying to mimic the fancy bridge thing Saturn does. They should all just be glad he’s not mashing the cards together anymore.
Usually Mars makes a game out of catching the cards while they’re dealt, but this time she lets them slide past her and right off the table. “You’re kidding, right? I know you’re terrible at jokes, but you have to be kidding.”

Back in Freezington, Peony starts to recall strange things about their last visit, and finds himself confronted with an odd-looking yet familiar Pokémon.
Meanwhile, after years of receiving no contact, Oleana manages to track a recently released Rose to his childhood home in the countryside. Finding him beaten down and largely ally-less, she decides to take things into her own hands.
All the while, dark clouds gather above the Max Lair as odd rumblings emerge from its depths...
