Summary
In which I take rampant advantage of whatever bits of various canons suit me to explore my Dad!Lex feels. Sort of compliant with the first couple seasons of Smallville, then it does its own thing, then I horribly cannibalize the DC comics verse to bring Kon out to play. Summary
Dean leaves Lisa on a Thursday.
The worst thing about it is that she doesn't even look surprised.
Miserable where he is, Dean makes the decision to abandon his 'apple pie life' and return to what he's always known, hoping that he'll be able to heal from Sam's death. Cas, on the other hand, is fighting and losing his war in Heaven, and while he needs help desperately, he is reluctant to drag Dean into his mess.
Meanwhile, a long-dead, newly resurrected angel is placed in Sam's path. An archangel tries and fails to act like everything is fine. And a demon sits on a bloody throne, dissatisfied.
A single choice can change everything, for everyone. For Dean, his actions will have consequences far beyond what anybody could anticipate.

Summary
(Diverges from canon before Phase Two: assumes Loki escaped from Asgard after the events of 'The Avengers' and has continued to make trouble for the team.)
After a battlefield taunt gets much more of a reaction than expected, Tony realizes that at least some of Loki's vindictiveness may be influenced by outside factors.
Since Asgard's punishments just seem to keep making Loki angrier, and it's Earth that keeps on paying the price, Tony decides to take matters into his own hands. Besides, Loki keeps showing up to talk to him, so he doesn't have much of a choice. He just wishes he knew what the Devil he was doing.
Loki's volatile and dangerous and Tony may have bitten off more than he can chew, but slowly something grows between them. Love isn't a magic cure, but between them maybe they can alleviate the symptoms.

Summary

But a new load of inmates has arrived, and with it comes problems. Allies and enemies from the past, young inmates that are reminiscent of the people that the Row used to be, and a pair of career criminals whose real allegiances are up in the air. And with all these problems come the problem of grudges, old and new. Of revenge. Of grievances that have had too long to stew, and an old war that had until recently belonged to the distant past. Everyone wants the pound of flesh that they feel they're owed, and very few of them care about the blood that'll spill with it.
