Gothamites were a self-respecting sort.
Most of them didn’t believe in deities, they had seen too much for that, but lord did It give them a run for their money. It moved like water, but hit like stone, and if it got hold of you, it felt like fire. It couldn’t be human, not with the way it moved, its neck too twisted, its void-like eyes unblinking, its ever-changing form. If you hit it, be it with fists or bullets, it never flinched, the way lights and tech started flickering when it appeared (really the only warning you got before it was on you), how the shadows clung to it, like they were trying to eat it alive. Gothamites didn’t believe in deities, they were too disillusioned for that, but good god did some of them think It was one of them (if it was a god or devil was up to personal opinion).Series

Once a small boy in an empty bedroom shoved a knife to his throat, looking equal parts righteous and frightened, though, there was no chance Tim was running away. Not when he had too much to prove - and everything to protect.

Summary
"You just turned fourteen a few weeks ago, right?” Jason whistled. “And I thought I died young.”
Tim shook his head. Took a step back.
No. Nope. No way.
This was not happening.
Or: After Tim dies, his soul remains stuck as a ghost at the Manor. Forced to watch Dick and Bruce grieve him and unable to do anything, the only thing making the afterlife bearable is Jason. Until the day his ghost departs.
Tim assumes that Jason has passed on. But then the Red Hood breaks into the Cave. And for the first time, someone can see Tim.

There was an adiik stealing from Bruce.
Ever since Dick had decided to leave Keldabe for Enceri it'd been hard, almost painful for him to see ade react to him. The fear the verd'ike often tried to hide from him served as a painful reminder to him that he might just become a dar'buir at this point. A frightening thought.
This time, though, the fear in those blue eyes mixed with the mandokar'la fire didn't remind him of that. It reminded him of his eyir'ika and how they'd met. It reminded him that no ad should be forced to live like this.
"Verd'ika," Bruce spoke up, "tion'ad hukaat'kama? Vaii cuy gar'yaim?"
The ad only blinked at him, fear and confusion still bright on his face. "What?"
Ah. He only spoke common, then. Unfortunately, it had been a long time since Bruce had spoken common, and he'd never been good at it to begin with.
Still, for the ad he would try: "What are you doing there?"

Damian Al Ghul Wayne dies pathetically. Pathetically, but peacefully, with two brothers by his side and the voice of his father in his ear. He foolishly believes that he won't resurrect someway or another.
Why. Why did he think that? Why, with the absurdity that is his life? He honestly should have known better.
Or: Thirteen year old Damian wakes up as a toddler version of himself. As you can imagine, he's not particularly pleased about the toddler part. Or that he's in a different universe with no way to go back.
The silver lining is that he now has the chance to be Father's only child (temporarily). But that's only after he gets home because in case he forgot to mention, he woke up in the League.
Fuck.
Regardless of the differences of this strange universe, he is determined to ensure the adoption of his siblings. If his plans do not succeed, Damian will be forced to take...drastic measures to bring them together.
