Summary
Poseidon watches Percy on the shore with a baby in his arms. Seeing his son amongst the gentle waves and the painfully human adoration for the child, he is forced to reflect on the love he has for his favorite son and the wars the boy was forced to survive. Poseidon struggles to accept the mortal constraints in the time together, but knows he must ensure his boy is granted peace.
Poseidon meets Estelle Jackson-Blofis while thinking the child is Percy’s.
